Shot some behind the scenes footage at the taping of a new music television show last week.
One of our clients invested in this new tv show. They couldn't be make it to the taping of the pilot so asked us to go check it out, take some photos/video and report back.
First things first, the taping conflicted with the Bulls/Lakers game so we had to sell these tickets on Craigslist. :( Ever since Derrick Rose went off in last year's playoffs I knew we needed to go watch him in person. Last week was the Bulls' one game in LA for the season (the Clippers, even with Blake Griffin, do not count). Oh well. I am excited to see John Wall and the Wizards come to town next Tuesday though.
Alright, so then, went and copped the new Kanye album. Honestly, don't know what all the hype was about. Decent album but Rolling Stone and everyone else gave it 5 stars - I don't think so.
Anyway, so we went out to the Grove in Anaheim to catch the taping.
Huge production, big staff, tons of cameras and producers, the whole nine yards.
Didn't really know of any of the bands, except the guys who sing this song performed and I did recognize it from the radio, so that was cool.
Ry and I chatted with this engineer backstage for awhile. He was actually home for a couple days from touring with Diddy and had just done the Dirty Money AMA performance a couple days earlier.
Anyway, all in all, it was a nice little day at the office for us.
Also, speaking of music, here's the new T.I. and Drake song from Tip's upcoming album. The Drake verse on here, when the drums start hitting - ridiculous.
